Our vehicles work according to the internationally patented RSP suction principle. This process guarantees the highest gravity separation, the lowest filter load and as a result constantly high suction capacities. During this process, the fan creates a stream of air of up to 44,000 m³/h and a max. vacuum of 55,000 Pa. The suction hose can be moved hydraulically three-dimensionally via the carrier. The material from the stream of air is picked up in the area of the suction crown. All media, solid particles up to a size of 250 mm can be sucked up. All essential particles are deposited in the collecting chamber due to the air slowing down and swirling.
The stream of air is further cleaned and dried in the separation chamber. The position of the collecting tank guarantees optimal axle load of the vehicle. The final pieces of dust are absorbed by the micromesh filter. The cleaned air is discharged extensively upwards through a sound absorbing unit. Cleaning of the micromesh filters is done using compressed air. During the lateral emptying process, the separation chambers and the micromesh filters are also emptied along with the collecting chamber. All superstructure functions can be operated via radio remote control unit.
RSP Suction Excavators are perfectly suited for rapid excavation around underground supply cables. Our unique technology allows for daily use with effective suction of rough and heavy materials making it an ideal solution for safe excavation.
The installed fans are the main component of the suction excavator technology. The high-performance fans developed specially by RSP achieve maximum performance data and the longest service life.
The fans achieve extremely low emission levels thanks to continuous further development, test runs and performance optimisations. A further savings potential comes from the vehicle-specific gear ratio of the fan. It achieves enormous fuel savings particularly in the three different power stages. RSP specifically use new high-quality materials to make the fan so that on the one hand the weight is minimised drastically and on the other hand efficiency is maximised.
Four moveable joints and a reach of six metres enable convenient operation from a safe location. The suction hose is firmly guided from the cover right up to the suction crown and can therefore be placed exactly in the suction point. The fully hydraulically guided jointed hose carrier is the optimum solution for working well at distances between 0 and 6 metres. With a swivel range of 180°, the RSP joint hose carrier was especially adapted to the site conditions. This allows the machine also to work safely where space is limited.
The micromesh filter consists of a cartridge filter that is mounted in the front part of the collecting tank. The filter elements are cartridge filters of the BIA dust class M. During the tipping process, the filters are mechanically protected against lateral forces. The residual dust content amounts to <10 mg/m³ and is therefore within statutory provisions.
Automatic cleaning is carried out with compressed air. To this end, the filters are exposed to short blasts of compressed air on the dust-free side. The adherent filter cake falls off downwards and is disposed of during the tipping process.
